'Upstream' is a contemporary abstract art original.
Inspiration for this artwork came to me whilst out walking locally alongside a slow moving stream. The reflection of trees on the opposite bank were somwhat obscured by leaves that had fallen onto the water surface.
The artwork is a vibrant, textured composition on a square canvas created with just a palette knife. Dominated by warm hues of yellow, orange and reddish-brown, contrasted with patches of black, the paint application varies, with thick, textured layers in some areas and smoother, blended regions in others.
The dynamic arrangement of colours creates a sense of energy and movement, emphasizing abstract forms without recognizable subject matter.
Dimensions: 100 × 100 cm. (40 x 40 in.)
This artwork is a unique, original acrylic painting using high quality materials on a deep gallery style canvas. The painting is signed and dated on the back and is ready to hang.
