As you’re probably aware by now, I have a fascination with space, time and the idea that they may not be separate things at all. Not in a literal sci-fi sense, but more through the curiosity surrounding Einstein’s concept of space-time as something that can bend, stretch and shift under pressure.
The red sphere became the visual anchor early on, while the surrounding forms and layered surface create a sense of tension and movement throughout the composition.
Reds push forward with energy and intensity, while blues and darker tones pull things back, giving the piece depth and balance. There’s structure within it, but also a feeling that everything is subtly shifting beneath the surface.
From a distance, it feels bold and atmospheric. Up close, textures, marks and layered forms begin to reveal themselves more gradually over time.
On the wall, it brings curiosity, movement and quiet presence into a space, naturally drawing the eye back for a second look.
