Some influences never really leave you.
Long before I found my own direction as an artist, I was drawn to painters who worked through instinct rather than control, and Jackson Pollock was one of them. This piece came from revisiting that mindset — letting go a little and allowing movement and energy to shape the painting naturally.
The title is simply my quiet nod to that influence. After all, a pollock is also a fish.
Layers of thrown and splattered paint intersect across a smoke-heavy blue-grey ground, while black, white and energetic reds create tension, movement and rhythm throughout the surface.
Stand close and it feels raw and physical. Step back and the chaos begins to settle into structure.
On the wall, it brings energy and atmosphere without overwhelming the space.
