As a child, I was endlessly captivated by the films of Jacques Cousteau, the French explorer, filmmaker, and underwater conservationist.
I remember sitting still, watching coral reefs pulse with life - layer upon layer of colour moving gently with the water. Those images stayed with me. Long before I understood painting, I understood awe.
That early fascination never left. As an artist, I’ve always been drawn to places where colour feels alive rather than applied. ‘Oh!
